Well done VLMers! And the multidisciplinary show goes on...

I spent a lot of yesterday watching the progress of various C25K grads and other friends in the Virgin London Marathon - well done to everyone for finishing!!

I also watched a bit of the race on TV and felt very envious of runners passing multitudes of London glory. I plan not to enter the ballot this time, but I may yet be hovering over that button on May 1st...

Anyway, after that it was back to business, well sort of. There wasn't enough wind for windsurfing on the lagoon yesterday, so I did a bit of stand-up paddleboarding, and then had a nice float in the sea while I watched the brave souls windsurfing on the waves (I'm not quite there yet - later in the year, I hope!).

I'm pleased to look back at my past week and see (following a week off post marathon - toenails're still a funny colour but are now functional!) a multicoloured collection of adventures, as I start working toward the next goals of a sub-25 min 5k in June and then my first triathlon in September. Two runs, a bike ride, and a swim = good. Hope I can keep it up! I've entered enough races now to meet my "more bling than last year" goal, although as that was only my 12th parkrun on Saturday I've got my work cut out for me to get to 40 by the end of the year...

At least it's definitely springtime now, we had lovely sunshine on the Prom on Saturday! Hope everyone else is having fun getting stuff done :)

wow you use endomondo I didn't think many people used that still, all my stuff gets sync'd to it as well.

but looks like your doing a great job in preparing for your first triathlon.

Thanks Ben :) Yeah, I have stuck with Endo as it pretty much does all I need it to - although I do sometimes wonder about accuracy... I have tried Strava and liked it, but I couldn't get it to run on silent for some reason!

yes thats why i stopped using Endo because i didn't like its accuracy. But now mine go's to Garmin Connect then that sync's with strava then i use Tapiriik to sync with all the other stuff. tapiriik.com/

I might try and look you up on Endomondo!

Looks like you're enjoying being very active, great stuff!

I signed up to endomondo over a year ago, even paid for the upgraded thing (whatever it was, don't remember). Haven't used it it since, but I still get notifications from endomondo saying that my activity is ready whenever they make their way from Garmin Connect to there.

All is indeed Abi :) I'm in my last week before taper for the marathon, looking forward to 3 weeks of slightly more time to sit on the couch *lol*.
