Hi everyone, I wanted to say hello and ask if anyone else had a place in the Royal Parks Half Marathon ? I am genuinely really excited and scared in equal measure !!! Does anyone have any good tips for training plans ?? I'm only running around 6k at the moment, but have lots of time to prepare, I really can't wait !! Happy running everyone !!!

Hi! I did the Royal Parks last year and it's fun! It was amazing to run in the middle of London traffic free, and the atmosphere was fantastic. You have lots of time to prepare - build up slowly and have fun.

I've got my eye on this one too but probably for 2017. It looks lovely ☺

Keep us posted on your training progress. Good luck

That's a really popular one, I know lots of people didn't get it... There are a lot of training plans out there. When I did my first I did a 5 and 10k in the week and then built up my longer run on the Sunday. Good luck and I hope some others on here may be doing it......

That looks a great run - and you've got lots of time to prepare for it :-)
