Sandringham half marathon

Today I ran Sandringham half marathon,I ran it last year but managed over a 5 1/2 minute course pb.

I didn’t think I’d end up doing it lastnight as the other two I was going with had to pull out so I ended up posting on my running club’s page to see if anyone could give me a lift,I was in luck.

The weather was perfect but I really had forgotten what a hard course it was.

Will I be back for a third time next year?I’d say there’s a pretty high chance as it really is a lovely route.

A lovely, scenic route really does help things along, and when you’re distracted by views, the time passes so much faster.

More hills than I remembered,part trail and running on grass .

Ah, I run on hills and and mix of roads, tracks and trails all the time. It's flat roads that would kill me, I've no idea how to run those. Well done again on your PB! 👍😀

It sounds like hard work to me. A hilly trail HM isn’t my idea of fun, but I’m sure it was beautiful. Huge well done to you. 👊
