Let's share our diet to help in macular diseases, I've talked to some doctors and according to them different people have different problems, but if you have a good diet, it slows down your disease or even sometimes give you better results with your medicines.
1) increase your take of VITAMIN-A/C/E (through fruits and juices).
2) Drink plenty of water.
3) avoid spicy and fast food.
4) eat green food and salads.
5) excercise for at least 1 hour in a day.
Many patients with eye problems have seen results in their conditions.

What is the problem associated with spicy food? I understand fast food is awful for anyones health but the spicy thing has me puzzled. My rule for food is eat clean and simple foods, avoid anything overly processed and avoid sugar at all costs and keep caffeine down to one or two cups of tea per day as it increases cortisol which I don't want with having persistent CSR.
I've shared my doctor's views here. What diet you're following for your csr? I've also stressed developed macular problem, and my doctor says don't take stress, and just for the injected injections to work. And meanwhile, do your work and think positive!
Breakfast will be porridge or eggs and dinner will be some lean meat with steamed vegetables and lastly my evening meal will be either meat /fish with rice and vegetables. I have very little caffeine and sugar is avoided at all costs. I don't suffer from stress and anxiety as I have a good happy life which really puzzles me as to why my csr is so persistent after 3 years.I train calisthenics 5 days a week for 45 minutes and work an active job so I'm getting enough exercise to keep me trip without feeling burned out. My sleep quality has improved by paying attention to how much artificial light I get and also the time I go to bed but still the csr gets worse. I wish CSR was researched more as it seems to me to be the poor cousin of wet/dry macula disease when it comes to research and possible treatment.
Why didn't you go for photodynamic therapy for csr? And did your doctor talked about retina surgery to you?
I get panicked and stressed when i wake up in the morning and think about my eyes, tho I've stopped smoking, reduces amount of sugar in my life, try to sleep at least for 8 hours, and try to keep myself busy, but still stress won't leave me.
The hospital I visit never told me anything about the condition I have they just said you have csr and there's nothing we can do about it we will just monitor it, and as for PDT treatment they don't provide it where I am. Everything I know about CSR is what I've learned on the internet. Have you tried meditation as a relaxation method? I did early on as I was very anxious when I first learned about what I had and it helped. I don't worry about it now as I've developed a different way of looking at life and the positive mental attitude I have built from that helped even though I can't see much out of my right eye.It is what it is. Well done for giving up smoking! That will benefit your health tremendously as will quality sleep. Taking time to relax and do the things you really enjoy will also help and don't forget to get outside amongst nature without any distractions from your devices like pbone/Internet.

I've taken injections for both eyes, as I've retina swelling in both eyes from the sides and central blur in one eye and side grey patch on left eye not central.
Let's hope good for the betterment for our treatment and at least we get our current condition stable. And we can save our sights.

Thankyou for your prayers I hope your sight settles and gets better too! Have you ever seen the videos of Dr Eric berg on YouTube? He does some very good Instructional videos on cortisol/stress/anxiety/sleep etc and natural ways of lowering and improving them through nutrition and mindset. I found the power of vitamin D and improving gut health to be very valuable.
