Vision not right

Hello everyone, just wondered if anyone can throw some light on something for me. I had my ninth injection yesterday, after my scan I saw the Doctor who seemed over the moon with my eye improvement,so much so that he has moved me from every 8 weeks to 10, which is fabulous news, how ever this morning when I got up my vision was not good, everything is out of focus, I was starting to use my magnifying glass a lot less, all day today I have had to use it again, needless to say this is really scaring me. Has anyone else had anything like this, Thankyou

Hi NettRoy. I assume you were given a telephone number by your injection team in case you had any concerns within the following days after injection. If so, I suggest you ring the number and explain what is happening with your vision. It may be nothing to worry about but it really is best to get it checked out. If you were not given a number, then ring the eye hospital or clinic and ask to speak to someone with regard to your problem. Good luck and please let us know how you get on.

can understand how worried you are. Like springcross suggest you get on the blower to your consultants secretary and let them know. If you know your docs name the switchboard will put you through. Best of luck nettroy.

Thank you x

Hi Net Roy, sorry to hear of your worries regarding your recent eye changes, it does need to be checked out. I agree with other's who have said to get in touch with hospital to voice your concerns. I was given, about 18 months ago now, an emergency number for any sudden changes to my eye's.

I hope you will get the help and support you need,

Take care x

Thank you all for your concerns re: the changes to my eyes , I contacted the clinic and they said that this does sometimes happen, and that to give it a day or two and it should right it's self, and it has, so thank you all again. xx
