cloudy vision after fsricimab

hi everyone

I had my 4th injection and this time no bubbles but my vision was extremely cloudy for about 6 hours or so. Has anyone else experienced this? I found it very unnerving and wondered why this happened. Thank you.

Hi Birchermu. As it was only for a few hours afterwards, I wouldn't worry about it as it may well have been the injection fluid taking time to absorb into the eye (I don't know that for sure of course, but it seems very logical to me). I've had 58 injections and initially had black polo mints floating about for a day or so afterwards, then that stopped. However, after my last injection last week, I had six black polo mints again which didn't properly disperse until two days afterwards. If you're worried about it, ring your clinic and ask their advice. Good luck.

Thank you springcross. That’s very helpful. I have the polo mints permanently following first injection but my brain generally forgets about them. I think you’re right and it’s just my eye responding to the injection. I did read on the Vabysmo website that temporary blurry vision is a side effect of faricimab. It was like sitting in a white cloud. Thank you again for responding. This website is amazingly supportive especially as a newcomer.

I have just had my 2nd injection and I am still finding it scary. This website is very helpful and support. I expect after time it becomes routine, I hope.

Yes it’s always good to have support and it does just become a way of life. Hopefully new advances are round the corner.
