Hi Everyone, unfortunately we ran into some technical issues so the webinar was unable to happen.

There will be another webinar as soon as a future date is decided, we will update you all on HU.

Where are they? What's happening? I got my laptop all up and ready, they were having technical problems and then nothing! Just a screen saying "live media will appear here". It's all over now as it's 2.54 pm. Will there be a chance to see this later? It's very disappointing.

Hi Springcross,

Unfortunately there were some technical issues with the webinar and it didn't happen, we are planning to host a future webinar and will update everyone once that date is sorted and technical issues fixed!!

Thanks very much Becky. It isn't just a Q & A though is it?

Hello springcross,

It was going to involve an overview of what anyone visiting an eye clinic at the present time can expect; some of the different ways treatment is being delivered in the current climate; the strict protocols in place to ensure patient safety, and how eye clinics are expected to operate when social distancing measures begin to be relaxed.

Our CEO, Cathy Yelf, was going to be asking the pair about the practical measures in place at eye clinics across the UK to protect patients who are attending for treatment, such as anti-VEGF injections. And viewers were going to be able to ask questions too via the chat function on the site.
