4 years ago I had swelling of my retinas during my pregnancy which later caused extensive scarring to both retinas. It’s most likely the cause of my double vision according to the 4 retina specialists I’ve seen. No surgery is available to correct the amount of scars I have. What’s worse is no one can seem to help me get the correct prisms to resolve the double vision. It’s been over a dozen different prisms and none of them take away the double vision. I recently had an MRI of my head and ocular areas to rule out any tumors or nerve damage. Everything came back fine. So I suffer almost daily from eye strain and frequent migraines. I don’t know what to think or do at this point. If anyone has been through anything similar, please share with me. Thank you

Does anyone else have scarred retinas that cause double vision? If so, what was your treatment? Did you find a good specialist to help?

This link has info about actual double vision (blurred vision is different), not sure if any use to you. I'd suggest you ask for a second opinion - if in uk then from Moorfields or Bristol eye hospital.
