Leak in the other eye now!

After diagnosed with WAMD in April in the right eye, my second scan reveals leakage in the left eye, the consultant says it is not close to the Macular presently, just wondered if I will need to start injections? I don’t seem to have any distortion in this eye and having a scan on Wednesday to see if there are further changes?

Thanks Ann

I have something different but am given similar injections. When there is some leakage not affecting my vision they don't seem too anxious.

Thanks RosyG, yes I am hoping that will be the case but I suppose it will need to be monitored. I hope all is going well with your injections.

Hoping it will not be so painful this week.

Try not to think about things hen I don’t need to.

Thanks for replying

Thanks for your hug really helps, just had scans this morning, it seems the leakage has improved a little during the month, off to consultant in a couple of hours to see what he says. Hoping the injection will not be as deep and painful as last time. Going to ask for more anaesthetic this time.

Hope all ok with you

Love and hugs to you

This eye disease is so variable person to person it is hard to tell. I would have to say ..probably. eventually but then again maybe not. Not much help or consolation sorry but there is always hope.
