I received an injection 3 days ago. I am still in a lot of pain and very sensitive to light. In the past my pain and light sensitivity are reduced significantly the day after the injection. Should I be concerned?

Hi Cjentry. I would ring the relevant eye hospital helpline (if you are in the UK) or the clinic which gave the injection if you are not in the UK and explain what you are experiencing, I was given the phone number for my relevant hospital after my very first injection. It may be that it was not flushed out well enough afterwards. I think some people do experience similar problems on occasion, I have too. You could also ring the Macular Society Advice helpline and ask them for their opinion. Good Luck. x
