Thank for all your help. I have been given a day and time for my first "phone review" in a months time. I will try to get answers then .If I am not happy, I will ask for future reviews at the clinic. In the meantime, if I notice any deterioration I will call. I am in Nottingham by the way.

Hi I find this very odd. A macular condition can not be assessed over the phone. Are you sure it is not a virtual appointment? I could investigate this for you if you have a K number.

What's a virtual appointment? If it involves Skype and stuff, I am not into all that.

No, virtual just means come to clinic, vision, drops, scan then home - consultant views scan and determines if you need treatment.
