Thanks Eyetime. It’s amazing what progress has, and is, being made. So proud of our National Health Service, and grateful for all their skills and care. It’s our experiences as part of this pioneer work that will contribute to all the future treatment of eye disease. I just hope a cure is soon found for these random episodes of extremely painful reactions. All the best to you

Yes saw this on the BBC news and it certainly looks promising. Thanks for sending the link, just wish they could speed the research up a bit so we all have a better chance of saving our sight.

Thanks for sharing this. So encouraging. We all have to be grateful that these clever doctors are trying so hard to find ways to halt this awful ailment. Also grateful to these brave patients who have agreed to be the guinea pigs. Fingers crossed for everyone on here that new treatments will be available in the near future.
