Visual acuity

I have monocular vision. I have one good eye. I had a cataract removed about 4 years ago. I was told I had a secondary cataract (film on back on new lens) that insurance does not cover until you have the right amount of symptoms. Evidently I didn't notice how dull my vision was because post laser treatment I was seeing colors like It was the first time. The best painless 5 min treatment ever!!!

Oh yes, I remember that moment where it seems all the lights have been turned on and you can't believe you'd forgotten how colourful everything really is!

The capsule ( that holds the original and then implanted new lens) becoming blurry is a common side effect of cataract surgery I believe. My friend had it happen to her too although she hasn't bothered with having it lasered yet. Good to know it's an effective painless treatment though, thanks for posting.

I think I bored my family because I kept calling out what colors were so bright. Take care
