I live in southern Mexico in the winter. I had been diagnosed a year ago at age 64 with dry macular degeneration. I did not think I was at huge imminent risk for issues as I eat well, take supplements, exercise and have no other health issues. My story is rather long as I had to seek care with medium level spanish proficiency and busing 7 hours over rugged mountains. But the first injections (both eyes) were done within a week of waviness and did arrest the leakage. I have had 2 more series at 4 &6 week intervals in the U.S. Supposedly my vision in rt eye getting better but still some distortion in left which may remain. My current issue is newer...each eye alone shows no double vision but together it is a vertical slightly double image which seems to be a bit more pronounced than it was. This has come on slowly but seems more pronounced as my right eye has gotten better . I figured it was my brain adjusting to the different vision. I am an artist, live rurally, and work part time where I need to use a POS system in a restaurant.I might be able to go to 8weeks between injections....That would be a great help since I live in areas that are not optimal for care and will have to consider major changes just to receive injections /monitoring. The doc does not want to give me glasses yet as sight is changing. Anyone have eye exercises that have worked for this? If your injections have been spaced out have they remained at that time frame for long periods? Thanks !
ican eliminate this double vision
