Dry eyes or something else. ??

Hi.

I have been suffering with sore dry stinging eyes for quite a while. Went to opthamologist who said I has closed angle glaucoma. Did laser surgery and said all is well but my eyes still hurt. I've noticed much worse at work in front of computer all day. What's the best option ? I've tried eye drops but nothing helps. It's getting to the point where it's interfering with my quality of life.

Please help.

Hello Brendarita,

It is probably your glaucoma that is causing the problem?

I suggest that you call the Glaucoma Society helpline, 01233 648170.

Best wishes

Hi brendarita, I tried different soothing drops. Some better than others. Hylotear I find very good. Also use them now every couple of hours which has made a difference and I notice it if I leave it longer.
