BRVO lucentis

Hi, had my first lucentis injection last week for brvo, I now have wavy vision in that eye that wasn't there before. Is this normal?

Hello Frannysnanny,

BRVO is likely to distort your vision in the same way as macular degeneration.

It is however a little strange for the symptoms to start subsequent to your treatment starting however.

May I suggest that you seek advice from the hospital eye unit where you were treated.

Hi. I have brvo too (with macular oedema) and am having Lucentis inj also.

I had wavy lines on the amsler grid which was part of my diagnosis. It seems strange you didn't.

I find the inj do make vision a bit worse for a day or so but then it improves.

Suggest you check with your eye clinic just to be on the safe side. Don't wait, do it today. They will be used to calls and will either put your mind at ease or get you in to sort you out .
