I agree with 'Eyesright' - If your next hospital eye appointment is on 1st August, it is unlikely that you will get an earlier appointment.
If you are worried about your deteriorating sight, I suggest that you go to the hospital eye department A&E department. Just to make sure that there isn't something that needs urgent attention.
If you would like to discuss further, please call the Macular Society helpline on 0300 30 30 111 (9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday).
Further to my last post , have had yag laser on subcapsular problem , but oedema has continued for at least six months and now have membrane over the oedema. Consultant said there is an op for this but can go wrong . He has now told me to reduce maxidex down to none and review late December. I am worried the problem could get worse .
Hi Carol, I'm sure the Mac Soc can help you with info and support. their no is above or check out their website - they have an email contact, lots of info, and a buddy system to support you if it would help.
I'm sorry, I don't know about your condition and can only send a hug and best wishes x
