Just wondering if anyone given Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy a try? If so, did you experience any improvement in symptoms and did it help at all?

Thanks

Hi, never heard of hyperbaric o2 use for lupus. oxygen is dangerous, contrary to belief if you do not require it. people with lupus would need to be realy carefull especially if they have breathing problems such as copd, as it can reduce your bodys oxygen levels and increase carbon dioxide causing serious issues including coma and death, please also remember medical oxygen is a prescription only medication. regards mark.

It apparently improves the cognitive impairment and helps CNS lupus and livedo reticularis. But it does have some contraindications, like everything else, which include COPD sufferers. It is used for MS, apparently, with good results.
