So Much Pain ARGH!!!

i got pain in shoulders knees and back and some awkward looking blister like spots on my legs hands and fingers i can feel something going on in my body im on 5mg of prednisolone i was wondering should i takeit up to 7.5mg to ease some pain.

If I were you - I would take ibuprofen before increasing prednisolone. I know the steroid helps - but many of us here are desperately trying to get off it because long term the side effects can be almost worse than the benefits.

Sorry you are in so much pain - hot shower, 400mg ibuprofen, hot water bottle, warm bed, and a good sleep may help a little bit?? Used to work for me.

I cant comment on any relief ;((((( im just sat her now ,thinking the pain of sitting is bearing to much ,however i cant lie down either as pressure against my skeletal muscle makes it burn and tingle and hurt too much also ,if i try and walk around i get exhausted ,its called a no win situation,sheer exhaustion is the only respite i have as i can sleep for a little while ,only to wake a few hrs later in agony again ,i cant advise ,im so sorry ;((

Hi, I can't take ibuprofen, but at my worst time I take co-codamol, but it can be addictive if taken over long periods. It makes some people "high". Alas it never had that effect on me. Blast!!! LOL

Thats good i hate having to increase them i just think they work more with the pain - lowicklady55 i have co- codamol they not addictive for me and neither do i go "high" but i shall take them then they ease some pain except for my knees that makes me unable to walk when they hurt.
