Raynauds in ears

Anyone having problems with their ears in this cold weather? The cartilage tips of my ears are all red and sore!! I suppose it counts as an extremity :) I look a right bonny bugger as my my Mother would say. Had to buy ear muffs as I hate wearing hats.

Raynauds doesn't ALWAYS send things white. I mainly go red & purple, but sometimes blue or white, just depends on how harsh the attack wants 2 b, plus other factors, such as the weather can influence it.

Raynauds CAN affect u're ears, nose & even u're lips (my lips go white or blue, my nose tends 2 go red or white, whereas my ears will go bright red or white when my face gets affected) as they obviously also contain blood vessels & as they r also classed as 'extremities' the blood will leave these areas 2 protect the organs, same way it does with u're hands & feet, just depends on how severe an attack is & how u're body tends 2 react.

Thanks Sher! I was going to mention to Dale Diva my nose.... but this does go classically white and pinched looking. Touch wood this is a symptom that seems to have abated and I haven't had an attack for quite a few years now.

No problem MaggieS. This is the thing, the 'supposed' symptoms & signs we're meant 2 look out 4 r'n't always made clear 2 us, we generally get told 'the basics' & the 'most commonly' affected areas :/

I was tild that raynauds can affect any extremity as that is where the the blood supply comes to a full stop ie. end of the line. I get raynauds in hands feet lips ears and nose so basically everywhere and they don't always go white as sher78 says it depends on where and how bad the attack is.
