This is the one day of the year us Lupies can feel smug.... no hangover for us!!! At least not an alcohol indudced one.... Hope you are as well as you can be. Thank you for giving me a community that understands and where I can get advice. Happy New Year everyone x

I can b smug as consumed numerous amounts of alcoholic beverages last nite (I have a very high immunity 2 alcohol, hence do not get drunk, therefore do not suffer with hangovers! Just a pity this tolerance doesn't extend 2 lupus etc) & feeling very chipper so far 2day. Ok, my toes feel as if they r detached from my feet & muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints r not behaving as they should but hey, we can't have it all. Wishing better health, acceptance & understanding 4 all my fellow Lupoids this year :0)

I felt quite left out last night not being able to drink but this morning I am walking around with smug smile on my face when everyone else has headache. Shame!!! lol

Same here, my first ever New Year at home.......but today am probably the fittest in the family whilst everyone else is suffering the effect of alcohol.

Happy New year everyone....What with the swollen foot ankle and leg then I get a chest infection and couldn't get a doctor to come out till monday fellt quite ill.Still on Antibiotics now so more thrush in my mouth Arghhhhh you have to laugh though. xxx
