Does anyone else get red patches on their tongue, they are not painful but getting bigger.

Hi, yes I have it and was refered to the dental specialist at the hospital. Its called Geographic Tongue (Betty in Corrie had it). It moves around and can be painful. If you look in a mirror it kind of looks like a map/atlas hence Geographic tongue. They have no treatment but you should still go to your doctor/SLE speciallist as it is a symtom that should form part of your medical notes.

Thanks wasnt sure if it was a start of a flare sure i have had it before. Not feeling great either very tierd thanks for the advice
