I have just move to Manchester – the past two weeks have been really stressful and EXHAUSTING – and I’m a wreck. I haven’t registered with a GP yet and I’m guessing that it will take some time before I get to see a specialist. Now I need to get out every day, attend classes and study but I’m having a hard time staying awake and standing on my feet – which are killing me! I’m only on Plaquenil at the moment - haven’t seen a doctor for over a year.
Can you please give me any advice on how to pull through? Any vitamins I should take? I’ll appreciate any advice that would make life a little more bearable until I see a specialist.
Thanks

It,s little wonder you are so stressed and exhaused. I would be too. First thing to do is go and get booked in with a new GP. then slow down, and rest. Manage your time , make to do lists, what can wait and what needs to be done first
Get yourself booked into your GP asap so they can refer you to a rheumatologist. I live in Manchester and i'm under the care of Prof Bruce.
In addition to hydroxychloroquine, I take 3000mg of Omega 3 fish oils, 1000mg of evening Primrose oil and 3000mg of acai berry (antioxidant) every day. I find these help me alot!!
