i have furry skin that comes now and again.inside my lips,i stopped eating fungi last time that worked.its back again. .

Hi Patty,

Do you mean the skin inside the lips peels off?

This is what happens to me,,i blame as a side effect from the Plaquenil/Hydroxy now and again!Try and not pick as once the peeling is done ,,you will be left with very sore inner lips.I have always eaten mushrooms,,prob about once a week and as an additive in other dishes,,but have to say i have still had this lip peeling.

Hi Jinny,thank you for answering my query.i havent had this problem for a long time.yes inside my mouth on the inside of my lips.all i can think of it feels furry.but if you dont pick it it looks awful.im very consious of it.

I also get this doe it look white? i use a toothbrush gently in circular motions to remove it then put vaseline on my lips it helps! Dont no what the cause is though?
