I have sle now for 4 years but not under control yet or will it every I have this pain in my chest that when I breath in the pain travels

Presumably you've had your chest pain checked by doctors to rule out the usual problems?. Lupus can affect the heart, lungs and ribs in many different ways. Have you seen your Rheumy about it?. If not can you go sooner via a cancellation?. It's a nasty, worrying pain that you need help with. X

Misty 14 ya had all the checks by my lups doctor he says he does not under stand my pain but my gp wants me to see a cardio man but just want to see if any one else out there with the same I have just been on steroids but they didn't take it away so have to and suffer a bit linger

When i have experienced pains as bad as that I have usually been in a flare that may have been exacerbated by some sort of infection or potentially had some sort of embolism. You really need to be checked out by people that KNOW your condition, and unfortunately in that regard, all doctors are not the same.

You should be seeking extra help.

Hiya im exact same - actually app with gp today with this. Ive had this ongoing since last year too painful to lie down, stabbing pain taking deep breath etc had loads tests scans - i do have heart & lung probs with lupus but cant get rid of this pain? Somedays its ok then comes back with a vengeance. Im also starting meds for nerve pain its dreadful across my back!! You are not alone with this one - def get it checked out

Feel your pain...have a hard time with deep breathing...and pain between my shoulder blades. Not on any kind of meds for lupus since I am on low end of spectrum. I just try to get through, but wonder if I should go to doc. I put a heating pad on now when it hurts or sit in my cheap massage chair. Not a fancy one. One u get in the store. Lie down on a hard surface sometimes helps. So difficult...good luck and hope u feel better....

Sounds like the same pain but I would love to fine out what it is and what meds to take for it
