I have had secondary Raynaud’s for years, but recently it has become worse and my feet are either freezing cold or burning hot. In addition the soles are sore and red in places, such that it is painful to walk. A trip around Google suggested chilblain lupus which I’d not heard of before. Obviously I try to keep my feet as warm as possible but it doesn’t take much to trigger symptoms. Don’t fancy Nifidapine which has been suggested. Does anyone have any tips? Thanks

Hi there, I'm sorry to hear that you're dealing with chilblains. I'm in the same boat. My lupus had been well-controlled for the past five years, but in November, I started developing purple bumps and red rashes on my fingertips, which later spread to my toes and heels. It got so bad that I couldn't even open my car door or touch anything cold.
When I spoke to my rheumatologist, he suggested that my symptoms might be due to inflamed veins. The only things that have helped me so far are cardio exercises (which improve blood circulation), drinking plenty of water, and staying as hydrated as possible.
