hey amazing people

This is bit out there but I know someone in the forum normally comes up trumps šŸ™‚.

Last week I had an overnight watch from hospital to rule out sleep apnea . Results in about a month

Over the last few months I have been wearing my own vivosmart watch . My pulse ox levels at night drop to 80% sometimes for about 30 minutes . Then they go back up to about 92% then drop again .

IF the hospital rule out sleep apnea does anyone have any ideas why this could be happening ?

Lung function test normal , no asthma or breathing difficulties .

thank you šŸ™ so much for reading . I might be wrong but surely this has got to be related to the relentless headache šŸ¤•

take care all xxxx

ps : always a chance watch could be inaccurate

HI Tiggywoods. I have the same problem but sometimes mi e happens during the day too. Also have banging headaches sometimes but all tests negative. I haven't gotten any answers so if they find anything I would be interested to know. It's a weird one isn't it.

Good luck and I hooe you find answers x

Thank you for replying šŸ˜Š. Did you have the overnight watch from hospital to look for sleep apnea ? It is very odd and depressing ! Take care and I will post any results xx

Please do post your results, hope you find answers. I am concerned about my husband and thinking of buying an oxygen monitor. X

Thatā€™s interesting about your husband as mine definitely has episodes where he doesnā€™t breath properly at night and he is always shattered . Trouble is he didnā€™t sleep very well when he wore the hospital watch and it was only for 1 night so they werent interested . He has large neck . I would definitely do your own research for your husband as some of the oximetres you can buy are really good xx

I was looking at the Vivosmart would you recommend it? Maybe after youā€™ve had your results from the hospital you may have a better idea.xx

Well itā€™s defo accurate for some things like heart rate and steps . To be honest i couldnā€™t guarantee the accuracy of the pulse oxy . xx

Hi, interested to see your post as Iā€™ve been suffering with headaches & migraines most mornings and am suspecting sleep apnea. Have just been looking at smart watches to see if I can monitor my sleep, heart rate & oxygen. Am I allowed to ask you which one you use?

Oh, Iā€™ve just read again and I see youā€™ve said itā€™s a vivosmart! Sorry!

Ah donā€™t apologise šŸ™‚. Iā€™m not sure how accurate it is thatā€™s the trouble . Saying that the heart rate is accurate as I used it on my mum . Iā€™m so sorry you get them most mornings itā€™s a dreadful start to the day . I wake up feeling more tired than when I went to bed . Thank you for replying .

I will post the results from hospital watch as soon as I get them x

I have asthma and PCOS and migraine - when hit perimenopause system went haywire and I have sleep apnoea with hypoventilation syndrome which is not fun.
