Hi. My name is Emchar. I am waiting for diagnosis of possible Sjögrens or other issues related to swollen salivary glands and dry mouth and Raynauds. My Rheumatologist is not sure and has done further blood tests and is sending me for Ultrasound scan. I also have Pernicious Anemia diagnosed 2013. Obviously a little anxious while I wait for an answer to symptoms I have had for 2 years. Thank you for listening.

I hope you get your results soon, once you know you can deal with it but the waiting is unsettling! I was diagnosed with Sjorgrens 25 years ago, after suffering repeated salivary gland infections so severe I had to have left gland removed. I take Hydroxychloroquine which mostly keeps things steady. I also have LIP (Lymphositic Interstitial Pneumonitis) due to the Sjorgrens, so see a lung specialist as well as Rheumatologist. Do hope you get some answers soon.

Hi EmChar, the wait for answers is so nerve-wracking! Glad you posted here about your challenges. Please do keep us posted, test results and diagnoses can take a ridiculously long time, and we’re here for you in the meantime. Hope you’re not in too much discomfort while you wait 🌻🌈
