Quick back story... my rheumatologist told me to stay out of the sun. I mean in no uncertain terms. So I did exactly that. I apply spf50 regularly throughout the day. I started dressing like a ninja (totally covered, even my face, just eyes showing) and going walking after 7pm as I can't bear to stay inside!Slowly going stir crazy as it's now sunny until 8pm plus I sent a photo of what i was wearing to my rheumatologist and asked if it was sufficient in order to go out a little earlier to tend to my plants. His reply...
You could do your gardening, even if it was in the middle of the Sahara desert at 2 PM! Oh Lord, did I scare you that much
🤣🤣🤣
Yes he did scare me that much, but maybe not as much as I'm scaring other walkers !!!! Note: I am still covering up and being careful. But I hope someone laughed too.

😂🤣that did make me chuckle ! Personally it’s my head and face that need most coverage. . I say to people “ look , I’m not going to allow the paparazzi to get free photos of me “ husband always mortified but new people I meet never sure if I’m joking or not 😂c
That’s a good one,I laughed out loud. I’m just back from Turkey, it was quite dull for a few days so I braved it going out and even took my hat off. That night you would have thought I had been lying out in the sun all day. My face and scalp were red, the v neck when I took it off at night looked as if boiling water had been poured on me. I was shivery and ended up in bed. Lesson learned, was that ninja the next day. I even blamed my factor 50 as being off. 🤷♀️
