Lupus?

Does this look like a Lupus rash?

Looks like the rosy cheeks I had as a child and the slight burning sensation not a rash as such. I can remember feeling unwell but my mother only saw rosy red cheeks which in her mind was healthy.

I was in my 60s when I got my first SLE diagnosis from a blood test at the hospital. My GPs had been treating me for undiagnosed rheumatoid arthritis with a drug that gave me an ulcer and landed me in hospital. Once discharged I was sent by a locum for a blood test, something my GPs had never done, that test came back positive for Lupus. I'd never heard of it.

Once on the correct medication I started to feel better and its now stable, I'm 77.

But auto immune antibody blood tests would be good starting point all best
