I’ve had a lovely week in Devon, staying in a gorgeous farm cottage, some bracing walks along the South West Coastal Path and eating some good food (though I do have to suffer one Wetherspoons meal each holiday as a compromise to my partner!)
My partner lives 200 miles away so we have some nice holidays when we meet up.
My stamina has been good all week though I’m flagging today. It’s wet and windy out there so I’m not complaining!
Have a good weekend everybody. 🤓

Beautiful photo glad you’re enjoying your trip, I love living in Devon but sadly not as active as you are. Been having a hard time with flares, infections and DDD (spinal issues) so I can barely walk nowadays. I have a cunning plan as regards the latter so it’s just a question of time now to see if that works. Plus it’s Spring and that always helps me feel better. Lovely to see your post it really cheers me up!
I have an all terrain wheelchair and a dog that needs 3 walks a day so yes I do get out but it’s limited to areas that are less muddy at the moment. The wheelchair goes anywhere but I end up covered in mud from the wheels. There’s not much of a gap between the bucket seat to the wheels. Changing clothes once a day is fine but 3 times a day?? No it’s not practical really. My cunning plan is a combo of swimming to help my spine and specific supplements recommended from a medical scientist friend of mine. He suffers with the same spinal problems. So I’m hopeful I can improve my outcomes.
