I also suffer from cutaneous lupus and I have recently had it in my scalp. Have you tried dermovate hair and scalp liquid? My consultant prescribed it to me and it’s actually worked really well. It even worked on my skin.
i really hope this helps you.

I use the Dermavate scalp treatment too which another Lupy on here recommended and my GP prescribed for me. It is brilliant isn’t it? Hopefully others will benefit from it too now you have posted about it. 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you for your reply. Yes it’s absolutely fantastic!! It’s the only thing that has worked for me and it’s quick and effective. I call it my miracle lotion! Am pleased it has worked for you also!👍
I've got the same, and yes it does work. The dosage does need to be reviewed once the scalp has calmed down.
Agreed, this scalp treatment is a God-send. I prefer the scalp application rather than the cream. It's the coolness of the application that relieves the pain. (I get itching and pain).
I know it’s great stuff! I have tried all of creams as I have had some pretty nasty flare ups which take a very long time to leave my skin.. But as soon as I apply the dermovate hair and scalp to my skin it virtually zaps them away over night. And yes you’re right the relief is immense. I pleased you have found it works for you also.👍👍
I use essential oils like Rosemary, cedar mixed. Apply and leave on scalp the night before washing hair. Also massage your scalp rigorously and tap scalp. It is the lac k of circulation that causes this problem. Worse case, get shots from your dermatologist, that will make your hair grow back if it gets spotty from alopecia. I hope you are taking Plaquenil, that’s the best drug to get your hair back.
Hang in there, it will grow back, good vibes sent to you.
