PhD student (Birkbeck College, London) is conducting a study on the impact of lupus on people’s ability to work and absenteeism among people who are employed.
What does the study hope to find out?
The study hopes to find out what factors are associated with the ability to work and absenteeism among people who are currently working. They are looking at factors such as flexible working arrangements and disease severity to understand the conditions under which people are able to continue to work despite having SLE.
Who can take part and what does the study involve?
Adults of any gender aged 18 or over who have a diagnosis of lupus. You do not need to be in paid employment to take part.
This research involves answering questions online about a variety of issues including demographic, health, psychological and work-related factors to better understand the factors contributing to difficulties working among people with SLE.
Participation will take approximately 30 minutes to complete the survey.
