Well I got checked yesterday. And was given some more exercise. Even though it's hard to walk and ligaments in ankle and knee are really playing me up. And better leg hip feels like bone is dying in it.But I have to plod on best I can. I've got another appointment next week for another check up.
I don't think these people understand how hard it is and how much damage you seem to be doing with this. I'm at a loss but they think it's a disc in my back and I have to try with these exercises to move it back. But after 5 months it only gets worse.

It's funny how physios always think exercise is the answer, surgeons believe an operation will fix it, rheumatology seems to be meds can fix anything. You know your body best, do what feels right to you, best advice I had from a physio said if it's hurting when you're exerting, stop. Try smaller and more often instead
Oh how I feel your pain... I've been diagnosed with Polymiositis since 2019. Recently Fibromyalgia, and "significant damage" to my knee from Arthritis...bone on bone. My ankle tendons are awful...especially the 1 I broke 20years ago!I've been on steroids(20mg, now down to 2mg)& so gained weight. Naturally, all everyone's advising is lose weight&excercise!
Much of the time, I can hardly move.
I feel like I'm nothing but a burden on the stressed NHS...
What with the issues from the illnesses and various side effects(I'm on Methotrexate... 25mg jab/week), it's tough.
