hi, are you saying your dog got the Covid vaccine?
Hi.im immunosuppressed and have 2 dogs which are vaccinated every year.our vet has never said anything like that to me and I've not become unwell either after our 2 have been vaccinated but they arnt vaccinated against kennel cough which i think is a live vaccine which may explain why they've said that to you. X
It`s for kennel cough. I was told there`s a really small risk and don`t put my face next to his face for 2 days. Then alls good! xx
Hi Ivonfield
No the vet is not being over cautious. If it is for kennal cough then it is a live vaccine. I just don't touch them for about 10 days.
Hope this helps.
