Belimimab and mumps

Do I cancel visiting my sister?

One of my nephews has mumps, I have MCTD, SLE, Fibro, APS the list goes on.

I am having Belimimab infusions as well as numerous other meds.

I just don't want to jeopardise my Belimimab infusions as they seem to be starting to have a positive impact.

I know I should always be cautious, but spending time with my nieces and nephews has always been better than any treatment.

Wishing everyone a Happy Christmas.

I think I would cancel I'm afraid yes bring immunocompromised on infusions etc I wouldn't risk being around someone with an infectious disease x

Be safe! Cancel!👆

You are very vulnerable to inhaling all sorts of germs, viruses, fungal spores etc from others in warm, enclosed spaces particularly in winter with windows shut .

Covid is essentially breathed in by those who catch it from infected people spluttering, coughing, talking, shouting, singing etc whilst in enclosed spaces.

The viruses are transmitted to others found in microscopic droplets of spray, sneezed or coughed out!👆by those infected.

Outdoor gatherings are much safer.
