That’s great. I so need the hugs. We lost Brodie in May and now my boy Dylan is bleeding internally. We are taking him to the specialist Oncology and Internal medicine hospital in the morning to see if there is anything they can do to help him. We will not put him through major surgery but neither can we continue to watch him get weaker and weaker. Our hearts are breaking 😭 xxx
Oh CecilyParsley I'm so so sorry to hear that. My heart goes out to you.I wish that I could give you a hug in person. I am thinking of you.lots and lots of hugs.
Let me know how you go on.My friends dog has a cancer, she didn’t want her to undergo surgery,so it’s being managed with medication .she’s happy enough, sleeps a lot, still eating, going for short walks.sending you a big hug xxxx
Thank you so much. Yesterday after days of stress and worry we took Dylan to the veterinary hospital in Gloucestershire. Long story short he is chronically anaemic and the changes in his spleen as as a consequence of his bone marrow not been able to produce more red blood cells. There is a mass in his small intestines but it has not metastasised. They were unable to ascertain what type of cancer it is but feels the main problem is not his heart and spleen but the chronic blood loss. They gave him an iron infusion and put him on ferrous sulphate. Today he has walked to the end of the street, slept less, eaten a whole tin of sardines and chicken breast and rice. We are so delighted with him. The next stage is the operation and pathology. It will wipe us out financially but he is priceless xxx
