Medication and Rhutuximab

I was suppose to go on rhutuximab this week Friday, but I was given anti biotics so I had to change my appointment.

I stopped my Mychophenolate for the duration I am on antibiotics

Does anyone know whether I need to stop my Mychophenolate when I start my Rituximab infusion or do I just carry on taking them.

I would get in touch with the nurses at the unit where you will be having the Rituximab to ask them about stopping your other drug.

Hi Turquoise1999,

I had to stop my methotrexate however I would check with your nurse specialist. Better to be safe than sorry.

I have rituximab twice a year so pls do get in touch anytime if you need any support from someone who also is treated by it
