I have been getting a lot of pain in my arms and can't lift them very well my Dr thinks I might have PMR waiting on blood test results not too pleased with this only just been diagnosed with exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. Has anyone got any experience with PMR it just seems to be one thing after another not seen my lupus Dr for nearly 18 months he isn't doing clinics as he is needed on the wards due to covid. the pain generally is starting to get me down was in hospital 2 weeks ago with pancreatitis kept me in overnight nil by mouth sent me home pm the next day and didn't even offer me a hot drink!!!!!! had to ask for a coffee and a biscuit before I went can anyone help?

8 have lupus and newly diagnosed polymyalgia rheumatic had symptoms that a long time before diagnosed.

Affects my legs low back side hips neck arms.

Lupus I had symptoms long time but rheumatoid arthritis masked it.

Yes I had no consultant care due to cover pressure staffing.

I had specialist rheumatology nurses via phone instead and all got was emergency tablet steroid 6 weeks course which helped but led to shingles 3 times.

Sorry hear u so poorly thats disgusting no food drink once not nil by mouth did that to me before.

I'm on methotrexate but 3 week break due to infection.

The methotrexate is helping all 3 my conditions just doesn't work in my fibromyalgia. But on other treatment for that or was till had to stop temporarily until infection gone.

Hope you feel better soon re pancreatitis I'd of thought having that you need consultant care isn't there other consultant who can ask be seen by.

My hospital has a whole team

Plus nurses and nurse helpline

Soul22 thank you for your reply I hope perhaps by the end of the week I might get my blood test result . I have got a consultant for my pancreatitis but everything is by phone I have never seen him my GP has a letter from the hospital which he is going to talk to me about on the 26th April and yet another phone consultation with my consultant on the 19th May it is all a waiting game. there is no face to face appointments which makes it so difficult. I hope you get over your infection soon lol and hugsxxxx

Hope you are feeling better after your infection. I did not have PMR I had bad arthritis flare , bad shoulders mixed with fibromyalgia. trying to do gentle physio if I overdo it it makes the pain worse but I need to keep my shoulders moving. Keep safe and as well as possible xxxx
