Has anyone been diagnosed with lupus causing vasculitis which has caused severe ulcerative colitis. Three weeks ago I collapsed for the second time in 7 weeks. I ended up in hospital vomiting and pooing blood for 20 hours. My crp went to 310 and they immediately started me on 500mg iv steroids and antibiotics for 6 days. My rheumatology doctor said that when the gi doctor called her her response was, oh shit. She said things would have gotten really bad if they hadn't started straight away. I think I am lucky to still be here.

No but I’m glad you’re getting good treatment , how are you feeling?
No, but I know more than a few people with a dual diagnosis of lupus and crohns. It seems not uncommon.
