😂😂And I’d be the one to follow you through! 🤣🤣Yes, dreadful weather thanks to storm Barra. You sound nice and cosy and cheery indoors. We haven’t got our tree up yet, but will do within the next day to two.🤞 Only back from Keswick on Saturday so still getting settled back in before a trip to GP surgery tomorrow for chronic kidney disease review. It is 10 miles away along country lanes so we hope no trees will be down to hold us up.🙏🏻 Take care Cecily and enjoy your tree. 🤗😘xxx

Ha ha . Good luck tomorrow. I am frustrated by day trying to wrap presents with shaky hands and a tremor it is a challenge. Fair play Neil has had to help me as the sellotape was getting twisted, I gave up on the ribbons as I just could not tie it for toffee and I couldn’t get the backing off bows 😫. Another nine to wrap then I need to pack them to send them off. They are not pretty but sent with love and that is all that matters. Thunder and lightening here tonight it is horrid out there xxx

It is a difficult task getting presents wrapped & parcelled up at the best of times.🥴 Hubby helps me too - I really think it is a 2 person job even without shaky hands which must make it harder.😬 But it is all worth it when the recipients write saying how thrilled they are with their pressies. 🥰 I hope you have a more relaxing day today Cecily. 🙏🏻 I’m getting ready to go for my kidney review now. It went well with Shona, our lovely nurse, thanks Cecily. BP up a bit but I won’t get the blood and urine test results until next week. Hope you’ve had a more relaxed day. 🙏🏻

Good news I hope the blood and urine tests come back ok. I have had a very stressful day. Our poor Brodie we thought had fractured his tail. We rushed him to the vet and it was actually a calcified wart? The vet pulled it out. It had roots like a tooth and has left a crater. Poor boy screamed bless him, my legs were like jelly. We have to bathe in warm salt water four times a day and he has antibiotics. The vet said the infection might have gone in his bones so we need to keep a close eye on him. He is such a gorgeous boy who loves everyone. What else? Multiple falls, Laryngitis, chest infection, hole in the ceiling and now poor Brodie all in two months. I might just hibernate lol. Oh no Cecily! That’s not a more relaxed day! Poor Brodie! 😩 That sounds excruciating, so no wonder he screamed and your legs were like jelly. Horrendous experience for both of you. But hopefully he’ll begin to mend now and in the long run be much better for the removal of the offensive wart.🙏🏻 I hope things will settle down for you now and that no more disasters occur before the New Year. 🙏🏻 🤗😘xxx

Oh me too 🤞🏻🙏🏻. He kept up until 4.30 am with a stomach upset from the stress I think and I was up at 8 am to get ready for my pottery class . Omg my cake stand was wonky before it went in the kiln, now it is like a ski slope. Hilarious 😂😂😂 xxx

I don’t know where today has gone - just been SO exhausted. I think it is due to reducing my Pregabalin which has been causing nasty side effects. So sorry to late reply. How is Brodie today? I hope his tail is starting to look better. I would have thought that it starting to scab is a good thing. But if in doubt ask the vet. I’d love to see your cake stand and I promise I won’t laugh. 🤣 Hoping your weekend is going well. 🙏🏻🤗😘xx

Bless you my fatigue is just awful at the moment. Every day I battle to do things. I did post a photo of my very wonky ski sloped cake stand and the wonky poinsettia. I topped the wonky cake stand with a wonky cake so it looks better than it did lol. I hope your fatigue eases. It is no fun is it? Big Cwtches xxx

Just saw your post and like I said there I think the cake stand and cake are enticing. The cake looks mouth-wateringly wonderful! You did a great job of the base of the cake stand too - looks really attractive and the poinsettia looks great. You are so kind. The stem of the cake stand is so pretty with Ivy and berries. I am not a natural potter, I find it so hard with my shaky hands and tremor but I enjoy trying. I would love to try the wheel but my wheelchair is too high up and the tiny metal stool would be dangerous for me. Rosemary is trying the wheel now and at 4 ft 8 had to be helped up. It is just lovely to spend a few hours out of the house. There is only myself Rosemary and the potter there. We all wear masks and use hand sanitiser so it is as safe as we can be too. Xxx

Sounds wonderful Cecily and having fun yet producing lovely unique pieces is what it is all about. That’s lovely it is just the 2 of you and the potter, you can’t get much more individual tuition than that. Oh CecilyParsley I haven't started to wrap presents and the thought of it makes me want to cry but at least I don't have any to send out. The tree is up and decorated by my husband and son and a couple of decorations here and there but not making me feel festive. When I had bunion surgery end of September I thought all would be good by now but bones in my foot broke and shattered and had to have another surgery so in pain and misery and orders to stay off of it for who knows how long. I love my Doctor though, she told my husband she'll come over and read to me if she has to! Labs came back looking pretty bad, I've never had Labs like that and I'm anxious to see the hematologist Monday. While your having bad weather here in Houston Temps are in the 80s! Very strange weather patterns with some days hot and the next cool and maybe a cold day here and there. Sorry to go on and on. I hope you have a wonderful holiday season and the gift of better health 😊. I also would close the gate 😉

It is wild here too but so far not as bad as Storm Arwen and I hope it gets no worse.🙏🏻 We were at our village Coffee Morning this morning before the wind really got up, so that was nice catching up with folk again. They have it first Tuesday of each month and we all enjoy it. Keep safe and warm. 🤗😘xx

Thanks Misty. The nurse, Shona, was lovely as always but I won’t get the results until next week. She urged me to speak to Dr Brown on Friday about my other issue, so I’m going to do that. Thanx spotty for your lovely message. Its how its going to work out im afraid.

Ive just spoken to the hospital and im only 3rd on the waiting list for an appt for Endo. Its also an expanding dept as there getting more doctors in apparently so it shouldnt be long till i get an appt. Be the best xmas present as im so symptomatic at the mo.

Its really bouyed me up this am. 😀
