Third Primary Doses can now be booked using NHS Online Booking Service

Hi everyone,

We know that a lot of people with lupus on immunosuppressants have experienced difficulty getting their third primary doses. The RAIRDA survey conducted a couple of weeks ago found that more than 1-in-5 people who are eligible still hadn't received their dose.

If you are on immunosuppressant medication(s) and have not been able to have a third primary dose of COVID-19 vaccine yet, you can now book your appointment using the NHS Online Booking System.

Thanks Paul for your update. After a month of phone calls to various departments/ people etc I did eventually get my 3rd primary dose. I believe that those of us who are immunosuppressed will become eligible for a booster, do you have clear guidance on the timeline when this will be please.

Yes, you will be eligible for a booster (fourth) dose three months after you had your third dose.
