It’s been a tough year or so for many of us. There are always positives though. My 85 year old Dad has survived pneumonia, sepsis and Covid while being treated for blood cancer this year. My daughter in law who has two masses in the brain feared the worst but a diagnosis of MS gives us all hope. My step Father with stage 3 Alzheimer’s still remembers our names.
The birds fly south but we know they will be back next year for another Summer and hope survives.
So so true, no matter what life throws at us, there are always positives around the corner..Life is always evolving and changing, we have live in hope...
I am so happy your dad has recovered! And that your DIL has a treatable disease and not a glioblastoma. Also great job of being able of living in the moment with gratitude . It is such a gift!
My dad’s mild Alzheimer’s took a hit during lock down but with an addition of a new med and more socializing post vaccine his progression seems to have stalled. He remembers long term things just not new stuff. I am grateful to still have both of my parents while so many of my friends do not have any surviving parents.
I so love that you are so positive - it so helps dosnt it - wow you and your family have certainly been through a lot , your Dad sounds like one tough cookie and am so glad that he recovered 💗
Hi. I wish you and your family good health for the future. A tough year for the World and it's occupants. For many of us keeping strong equals being positive. We all have our ways of coping. Positivity helps to not let things (including diseases) define us. Every day I find something to be glad about- today it is hearing that your family are ok. Keep on going fellow warrior. X 🌻
Bless you for sharing such wonderful side of difficult life story. Amazing to hear of your father's triumphant recovery! I think you are truly blessed to stay so positive! xx
Thank you, sadly not all of us, we lost one 5 years ago with mental health issues and bi-polar disorder, it’s a pity he did not join a forum like this to support him in the way we are all supported and nurtured here.
