Have you ever received or provided pre-pregnancy (preconception) care, support or advice? Whether or not you have ever considered, planned or been pregnant, The PEAcH Study would like to hear from you about your experiences. The PEAcH Study is now recruiting women, partners/supporting family members and healthcare professionals.

They want to find out what works for who, and how, in terms of preconception care for women with health conditions. Their aim is to optimise services and improve health and wellbeing during pregnancy and beyond.

This sounds very interesting and useful Chanpreet. I was pregnant in 1979 and 1980 and lost both babies at 20 weeks and 22 weeks. My husband and I had no support either before or after the pregnancies and I felt very isolated and alone living in the Scottish Highlands at the time . I don’t know whether my experiences are of any interest to the study, but I’d be happy to ive them all the details if they are.

Hi Spotty-ewe,

Thank you very much for sharing your personal experience with us. I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your two babies and the lack of support you received at the time.

I think the study will find your experience very useful in terms of understanding what type of care is needed for people in a similar position.

Best wishes,

Chanpreet 💜
