Lupus and the menstrual cycle

I’m 63 yrs old and I would like to ask anyone for advice as I’m still taking menstrual cramp does anyone else go through the same as I’m a bit worried about it

Have gone a year without a cycle and than it has returned? If so you need to see a Gynecologist.

No my periods stopped years ago but I still take cramp but no bleeding

Liz,I wonder if anyone checked you for Endometriosis? I would definitely speak to a doctor about it.. a peace of mind and assurance... x

Possibly endometriosis or fibroids. Or both in my case. As I was on prednisolone for a long term, it also made my fibroids grow much bigger. I still get cramps almost daily despite being in menopause. Best to ask for a referral to a gynecologist so they can arrange ultrasound scan and etc. Best wishes!
