Have my blue badge assessment tomorrow. I have lupus SLE . Can anyone give me any advice tips etc

Hi Sallmell, I am surprised that they are seeing you in person for this. Do you have PIP? I have always done mine online. The only advice I can give is tell them how your condition affects your mobility, pain, fatigue etc as well as your physical ability to walk. Good luck. Let us know how you get on xx

My assessment was looking borderline and then I told them that I was on biologics for my RA and the nurse knew my consultant and said that suggested the severity of my disease. Good luck with yours and remember to answer as though its your worst day !

Just to let you know I had my assessment. Lucky for me I had an assessor whose aunt has lupus so she was aware of impact. Blue badge criteria passed 💙
