Morning, Sorry to hear of yr condition. Losing hair can be very distressing. I have lupus and had a phase in hospital for several months in 2018. I am not clinically qualified and don’t know too much about yr condition but I lost a lot of hair. On the floor, on the pillow
I have short blonde hair and between the skin and hair loss it was like a snow storm and quite embarrassing. I had a massive dose of steroids which saved my life thank goodness. 1000mg x 3 days. Then reduction on plan. The hair did start to grow back after a few months but my dermatologist prescribed 5mg folic acid which really helped. It kicked in after about 2 months and was very obvious. Expensive shampoos were a waste of time. I still take the folic acid on prescription daily with steroids and methotrexate now. You cannot take folic acid on the day you take methotrexate. Hope that encourages you to stay positive and talk to consultants who can help. Mine were fantastic.
As an aside to Lupus - when I started HRT post menopause my hair showed new growth.Good luck, keep smiling 😉
