Hi there were lots of us on here that we’re quite afraid of getting the vaccine but people have posted that some people get a mild reaction and some people get a major flaire - I myself just had a very sore arm and felt very tired - but then I’m always tired anyway - please don’t be afraid it would be very beneficial for you to have the vaccine as it could be very dangerous if you caught Covid x

Hi, I have DLE & RA. I had my first Pfizer jab about 6 weeks ago. The only side effects I had I think affected my RA, joints extra achey for a few hours, fatigue and a sore arm. For me I’d rather the risk of a flare than catching covid & having complications then but we’re all different..

Hi Jeremy, I had Astrazenica on Sunday. The only side effect was the stomach pain.

8 hours after the vaccination, I regularly took ‘day nurse’ for about 36 hours. Both my daughters did the same (both have serious health conditions) and we were fine. My younger daughter with also lupus had the sore joints, headache, fever etc but she was fine after two days.. so I would say do not worry.. hope this helps... with best, Lale

I’d back up was been said here. I had AZ shivers & fever that night, felt rubbish next day, then more or less back to normal after 2 days. Delayed sore arm day 4-5. I was worried too, but risk of flare & known side effects better than unknown risk of catching COVID. Hope you feel a little more reassured.
