It may get attention - but I will guarantee that all healthcare systems will end up overwhelmed and we will probably be in a worse situation than before.

I agree health systems will be under great strain for years to come but the number of younger people unable to work consistently with long covid may help to focus their minds on cost effectiveness of rehab for everyone with serious /long-term illness - worth using to highlight continuing problems of those with lupus who cannot work (through system problems) yet are denied to have to apply, apply and apply again to get benefits.
