Nothing is yet known about possible long-term effects of the individual vaccines. Only the long-term studies that accompany the vaccinations worldwide and will continue since approval will provide clarity.

In principle, the decision is always based on a risk-benefit assessment

So far, there is a lack of information about rare, possibly severe side effects, for example in rare pre-existing conditions or in certain risk groups such as specific allergy sufferers.

Positively cosy - minus 18C here, and even colder a few miles along the valley. But a balmy -10 to -12C at the top of the mountains ...

Thanks for sharing salp1! Good to know there will be a Phase 4: People with autoimmune and inflammatory diseases and those on immunosuppressive therapies will be evaluated after the vaccines are on the market 👍😊🌈

Its important to point out these side-effects are NOT anything to do with the risks of viral infection from the vaccination. As today's post by 282523 points out, these mRNA vaccines involve injection of a virus component that is incapable of replication, even in people with compromised immunity. x

Thanks Whisperit, yes, the article explains these are all inactive vaccines, and the severe side effects to date were well-publicised, however long-term side effects are clearly an unknown as are the effects in autoimmunity 🌈🦉👍 xxx
